Elon Musk and his company SpaceX, also known as “The Modern-Day Iron Man,” have been working on an interconnected satellite network in low-Earth orbit so people can have an internet connection. On Monday, the company announced that its beta test will be available to the people who have expressed interest in signing up for the service. The product they call Starlink is priced at $99 per month and users will incur a $499 cost upfront for the Starlink Kit. Starlink Kit includes a $499 user terminal, mounting tripod, and WI-FI router. According to an email sent to interested parties, the company said people should not expect the test to blow their minds the way one expects from a standard Elon production.
